🏀 Half-court
👥 3 players + up to 2 subs
🎯 Divisions: 9U · 10U · 11U · 12U
⚧ Boys · Girls · Mixed
▦GAME FORMAT
- Each game is a single 12-minute period, or first to 21 points — whichever comes first.
- Win by 1. Reach 21, or be ahead when time expires, and you've won.
- If the score is tied when time expires, it goes to sudden death — the first team to score any basket wins. The team that started the game on defense gets the ball.
- No shot clock. Refs will warn a team that's clearly stalling and may award the ball to the other team.
◎SCORING
- 2 points for a basket inside the arc.
- 3 points for a basket behind the arc.
- Free throws are worth 1 point each (only in the bonus — see Fouls).
⟳POSSESSION
- Opening possession is decided by a shoot-for-ball from the free-throw line.
- After a made basket, the team that was scored on takes the ball and checks it at the top.
- On every change of possession (rebound or steal), the ball must be cleared behind the arc before a shot can be attempted.
⚑FOULS & FREE THROWS
- Before the bonus, a foul simply gives the offense the ball back, checked at the top — no free throws.
- A team enters the bonus on its 7th team foul (counted per game — there are no halves).
- In the bonus, every foul gives the fouled team 2 free throws.
⇄SUBS & TIMEOUTS
- Substitutions are allowed on dead balls only — the incoming player checks in after a basket or stoppage.
- Each team gets one 30-second timeout per game.
🪪ELIGIBILITY & CHECK-IN
- A player's division is set by how old they are as of September 1, 2026.
- Every player must present proof of age (birth certificate or ID) at check-in.
⚙EQUIPMENT
- Ball: Size 5 (27.5") for 9U & 10U; Size 6 (28.5") for 11U & 12U.
- Rims are at regulation 10 feet.
On the court: referees and court monitors have final say on every call, and organizers may clarify any edge case on game day.
